As a Speakers Bureau member of the Huntington Beach City Fire Dept. spoke at local city schools regarding updating their disaster preparedness plans and spoke at the neighborhood level to recruit and train new local emergency response teams.
Spoke on local PBS TV channel 3, Huntington Beach, recruiting for a widow's support group that Judy founded at GoldenWest College.
Featured Conference Keynote Speaker at a five day Arrowhead C.F.O. Family Camp, Cedar Lake, August 1995.
Twice spoke as a featured speaker for Activate, a college and career club at Hope Chapel, Huntington Beach in 2015.
Created and taught an all-day seminar on Women Overcoming Private Hells, 1996, with guest speakers, workshops, a skit, discussion panel, interactive buzz groups, and ministry teams. (Sponsored by our church, open to the public, held at GoldenWest college.)
As an RN member of UCI Medical Center Staff Development Committee; developed, & team-taught three seminars: Interpersonal Relationships, Communication Theory, and Leadership Skills.
Preceptor for RN's, Respiratory Therapists, Paramedics, M D interns at UCI Medical Center Cardio-Pulmonary Training Center and in all the various ICU's.
As District RN for ten public elementary schools, designed curriculum, taught, trained and certified unlicensed, untrained assistive personnel to properly understand and perform specialized medical procedures in the school setting for medically fragile students.
Co-Founded and co-pastored two churches; 1992-2012. This included developing, organizing, leading retreats, teaching workshops & seminars, overseeing various outreaches, programs, ministries, speaking, preaching, pastoral counseling, training and mentoring intern pastors, developing the women's and children's ministries, leadership training, and managing the office, people and business ends of it.
Founded, taught, managed a successful Home School; (Jr. High and High School level) for several years. Designed nearly half the curriculum. Graduates excelled in college and in subsequent endeavors. Son aced the Army ASFAB test. Daughter is a well-paid computer geek who is also a keynote speaker for conventions. Judy also taught Sunday School for several years at Hope Chapel.
As Orange County Heart Association CPR Instructor taught two different high school faculties’ classes and one community class. Instructor certification has currently lapsed.

Founded the RD139 CERT, recruited and trained the volunteer leaders to respond to our community drills as neighborhood first responders. We were awarded the Huntington Beach Fire Dept. CERT Team of the Year Award in 2008.
